Jurong Point Shopping Centre

With 19 years of experience in the early childhood industry as a teacher and a principal, I am currently an Executive Principal in My First Skool at Jurong Point centre. Jurong Point Centre is located in Jurong Point.

Being in a strategic location, our centre has many learning experiences available for children in the community. The centre is connected to a community centre by an overhead bridge. This allows children to walk over to the library in the community centre to extend their learning.

Jurong Point centre has a roof garden in which children engage in outdoor play activities. Our children also grow and care for various plants that they grow at our outdoor area. The centre has won a silver award from NParks for Community in bloom. Delegation and empowerment are two qualities of a strong leader that I believe in. As a leader, I focus on key responsibilities while empowering the staff to take charge of other areas. This allows staff to grow with the organization.

Happy children who love coming to school to play and learn is an indication of our success. I am a leader who believes strongly in developing good teachers to be great teachers and are the right role model to the next generation.
