I hold a Master in Early Childhood Education and I joined My First Skool in year 2011. Our centre’s capacity increased from 101 childcare and infant care services to the present capacity of 322 childcare, infant care and the 4 hours programme for the Nursery to Kindergarten 2. We offer Chinese as 2nd Language across all levels and Malay as 2nd Language for the K1 and K2 children.

To inculcate values in our children, we collaborate with local communities like NTUC Eldercare @ Marsiling, where our K1 and K2 children would visit periodically, while our Playgroup and Nursery children work with the Singapore Kindness Movement. We collaborate with the National Library Board for the Read @ Community where 300 assortment of storybooks are delivered to our centre every 3 months for our children’s reading pleasure.

I work with my team to ensure that we provide a positive and safe learning environment that fosters the joy of learning amongst our children and a peace of mind for parents who entrust their children at our centre.

As the leader of the centre, I will continue to inspire my team to be committed in nurturing and empowering our children to become independent, confident and inquisitive learners. I look forward to working with parents to support your children and as the proverb goes, “It takes a village to raise a child”, let us work in partnership for the benefit of your children during their formative years.
