I graduated with a Master of Education (Early Childhood) and a Diploma in Early Childhood (Teaching & Leadership) and have been a practitioner for the last 14 years.
Throughout these 14 years I have established strong relationships with different stakeholders; like our community partners, parents, and teachers. These relationships allowed me to lead and set a good foundation for the care and development of our children.
I believe that every child under our care is unique and capable. Children should be respected, valued, and supported in their holistic development, including their physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and creative growth. Hence, we as educators, facilitate and scaffold the learning for the children in school, work collaboratively with parents, create extended experiences with the community partners to enable every child to develop the skills and qualities needed to have a bright future.
As a leader, I work alongside the team to foster a culture of reflection, innovation, and continuous improvement, which will encourage the team to engage in self-reflection, evaluate their practices on a regular basis to improve the children’s outcomes, and make adjustments to improve the quality of care and education provided. Together, we will forge relationships that make a lasting difference to parents and children.
