Having been in the industry for more than 25 years, from an Assistant Teacher and to date, an Executive Principal, I have always been motivated by the many affirmations from the lives we have touched as a team or individually; be it a child’s, their parents, a staff’s or a fellow colleague. I strongly believe that a child can flourish with the support from the people around them. Currently, I hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.

At this centre, my team and I are working closely with 174 children and their families. A child’s desire to learn is an intrinsic motivation in itself and we shaped our curriculum and programmes with that in mind. As a leader, I also hope to make the teachers see the importance of their work on a daily basis. I am teaching, guiding them but also still learning while being resilient to the many changes.

Our centre is the pioneer centre that offers Malay language to children from Nursery to K2 levels. We also have an immersion programme with Park View Primary School so that our students can ease into their primary school life as they progress into the next phase of their learning.

Hailing from a family of teachers has much inspired me, and I decided that this is where I could really make a difference in children’s lives.
