I had for the past 22 years served in the Early Childhood sector. I have attained my Degree in Early Childhood Education with Management from Singapore University of Social Sciences in 2013.

I am currently leading a centre with a capacity of 136 children and 20 infants. Our centre is a SPARK quality certified Preschool. We have also attained the Healthy Preschool Accreditation (Platinum tier) from HPB in 2019.

I live by the belief that children are like clay and we educators are like potters. We have the calling to mould the children by providing them with the best resources and opportunities, a conducive and secure learning space for them to explore and learn.

Every child is unique and we have to ensure that they do not miss out the window of learning, where their potential can be maximised through close partnership with their parents and the community. We collaborated with NLB, HPB, St Luke Eldercare, Junyuan and Eastspring Primary School to extend children’s learning beyond the classroom.

With reference to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs theory, I continue to meet the needs of my team to motivate them to keep learning and grow. Equipped with good knowledge and skills, our team intentionally plan activities for the children. We are committed to enable every child to have a good start in life.
