I believe that every child is a unique individual who needs a safe, secure and nurturing environment to flourish and grow to his/her fullest potential.

Character development should be an integral part of children’s education. As a centre leader, I place emphasis on character building and the development of pro-social values in children during the implementation of the curriculum.

Engaging in continuous professional development helps me keep abreast of the evolving early childhood educational landscape. It’s important for me to stay ahead of the curve so that I can continuously motivate and inspire my teachers through constant mentorship.

Prior to leading the team in My First Skool at 6 New Punggol Road, I had spent many fulfilling years as a Principal in another My First Skool centre in Ang Mo Kio. I had worked with the team to initiate meaningful collaborations with community partners to enhance learning for children and parents.

In 2018, I led my team to achieve SPARK Commendation, and was also awarded ECDA “Promising Early Childhood Leader” award.

These achievements reflect our deep commitment and dedication to provide quality care and learning experiences for the children and families we work with – which will remain in My First Skool at 6 New Punggol Road.
