After my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Educational Studies and Leader- ship from Wheelock College Singapore, I started my career as a teacher. Now 9 years into the early childhood sector, I am the Principal of My First Skool at Blk 671A Jurong West.

As a leader, I have always held onto the belief that no child should be left behind, hence I had embarked on deliberate actions to partner families and the community in order to fulfil the promises to every child, and enabling them to have a good start in life. I find incredible joy in building positive working relationships with parents and community partners regardless of their cultural and educational backgrounds.

I believe that they are valuable resources and they help make learning more meaningful for our children. I am a strong advocate in continuous learning and I believe that it is necessary for educators to attend regular professional development courses, so they are updated with the current trends to better meet the needs of the children. To foster a culture of collaborative learning and sharing, educators are encouraged to share their takeaways during curriculum meetings for our children’s holistic development.
