Being in the Early Childhood sector for 15 years, it has given me utmost satisfaction as an EC professional. I believe in making a positive difference in the lives of young children by creating opportunities for them to flourish as unique individuals. Attaining my Diploma and Bachelor in Early Childhood studies further spur me to uphold my beliefs in developing young children.

As the centre leader of My First Skool at Blk 803 Tampines, I play a significant role in leading my team to guide children in fulfilling their potential. I collaborate with parents through Parent Engagement Programme to empower them in partnering us as facilitators of their child’s learning at home.

Today, our centre has created engaging platforms with many opportunities for children to interact with different stakeholders. We have Intergenerational Programme (IG) for children to spend meaningful time with seniors. We also participate in community programmes in collaboration with NParks and National Library Board. These partners provide us with vast resources in supporting our children’s emotional and physical development, thus building their sense of identity.

To keep my team going strong, I strive to be the driving force to inspire my team in learning and growing professionally. By gaining trust and respect of others, I have confidence in making a positive impact to people around me so as to provide stronger learning environments for our future generations.
