My First Skool at Blk 659A Punggol East - Early Years Centre
I started working as an early childhood professional over 15 years ago. To keep up with the always-evolving field, I have completed a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education with Management to hone my professional skill set. Along with a group of committed teachers, I am honoured to lead My First Skool at Punggol East and thankful for the experiences and opportunities I have had so far.
As an Early Years Centre, my team and I serve infants and young children in the Punggol neighbourhood through quality care and education. Our centre has participated in numerous community initiatives such as Start Small Dream Big, Intergenerational Programme, Arts Programme in partnership with National Arts Gallery and Community in Bloom with National Parks. These unique learning collaborations have certainly broadened children’s learning holistically. The experiences have also enabled the team to grow and strengthen the quality of our curriculum.
Sustaining strong parent-centre relationships is one of our centre’s strengths as we continue to embrace parents as partners. We recognise that a child’s growth and development in early years essentially build upon positive relationships with parents in the long run. Therefore, I strongly believe in providing enriching learning experiences for children as they are innately curious and enjoy exploring the world around them.
I envision that every child will flourish when they feel a sense of security with supportive caregivers. Based on this belief, I look forward to collaborating with parents and community partners to maximise each child’s potential and leave a positive impact on each child.
