I have been an Early Childhood practitioner for more than 13 years, with 8 years as a Principal. I hold a Bachelor with Honours Degree in Education (Early Childhood Education) from the University of South Australia and currently, I am the Principal of My First Skool at Eastpoint Mall since the Centre first started in 2015.

My passion in Early Childhood Education stems from my interest in working with children. I have always been deeply inspired by children’s natural curiosity for learning about the world around them. I believe that every child is talented in his or her own ways and as early childhood practitioners, we open the world of learning for children by planning meaningful experiences that are connected to them.

My First Skool at Eastpoint Mall can take up to 221 children from Infant to Kindergarten 2 classes. Our Centre is proud to be awarded with the SPARK certification in 2018, as well as the Healthy Preschool Accreditation at Platinum Tier by the Health Promotion Board. This is a testament to the team commitment to providing quality care and education for the children under our care.

Aside from this, we actively incorporate the use of technology in teaching and learning across our 4 to 6-year-old classes. Our centre also has an established partnership with Changkat Primary School where we arrange yearly visits for the children and parents of our K2 classes to familiarise them with Primary School education.
