I am the Principal leading My First Skool at Blk 303 Canberra Road with 8 years of experience in Early Childhood. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education (Early Childhood).

I believe that every child is a curious and natural explorer. They can make observations and discover and apply their learning in different contexts with the teacher’s facilitation. So, a holistic and child-directed learning environment is essential in developing skills that prepare them for their later years.

The learning environment plays an important role in shaping children’s learning experiences. With my team, we aim to create a child-directed learning experience and environment to develop children’s competencies through hands-on activities. Through these learning experiences, children are given the autonomy of their learning, embrace challenges and inspire to have a lifelong learning mindset.

It takes a village to raise a child that provides a safe and healthy learning environment for children to grow. We hope to build a respectful, responsive, and reciprocal environment in partnership with families, schools, and the community. With great partnership, we will be able to create a warm and safe learning environment for every child!
